Psittacus joins the Versele-Laga Group

Together they have almost 120 years of experience in bird nutrition: With this partnership, the Belgian Versele-Laga Group and the Spanish bird specialist Psittacus are strengthening their position in the industry. „We are delighted to welcome the experienced Psittacus team to our family,“ says Versele-Laga. „With our combined expertise and infrastructure we will be able to develop innovative products and better serve the market with high quality bird nutrition and related services.“

Psittacus will continue to operate as an independent company, led by Managing Director Teresa Masuet. Xavier Viader will join the Versele-Laga group of bird nutrition experts and Elia Viader will continue to be responsible for sales and marketing. Like Versele-Laga, Psittacus continues to focus on high quality bird nutrition. The two companies' product ranges are complementary and Psittacus will also gain access to Versele-Laga's global infrastructure and market knowledge.
